Assistant/Associate Professor of Health Education (Position #01514)
 
 
POSITION:  Full-time academic year probationary tenure track position.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:  Primary responsibility is teaching undergraduate courses in the Health Education Program in the areas of school and community health.  Field supervision of interns and student teachers is possible.  Candidate will be expected to develop a focused area of scholarship including publication of refereed journal articles.  Additional
responsibilities include participation in appropriate departmental, college, university, and professional service.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:  Applicants should have an earned doctorate in Health Education or closely related field or reasonably expect to complete the doctorate by May 15, 2011.  Higher education teaching experience and health education work experience is desirable.
 
POSITION AVAILBLE:  August 16, 2010.
 
SALARY:  Competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
